great access to herculaneum and beautiful gardens for exploration
the hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from the archaeological site of Herculaneum, and the lovely gardens provide a serene escape after a day of city strolling, making it a delightful spot for weekend explorers like me. Request a room away from the street to minimize road noise and ensure a more restful stay.

The pool area features nice surroundings for relaxation.
Arriving at the hotel, I was disappointed to find the grounds poorly maintained and littered with debris. Our room was filthy, with dirty furniture and rusty fixtures, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The breakfast options were extremely limited and unappetizing. I expected more variety and quality during my stay.

Family with children highly recommend it
The hotel has a fantastic pool area, big enough for my daughter to dive right in every day and cool off after we hit the streets. One evening, we enjoyed caprese rolls by the pool, they were just €5 and sooo good, definitely worth it.
It wasn't exactly a bargain,, but for what we got overall, it still felt reasonable enough.

The hotel has stunning high ceilings and interesting artwork throughout, creating a unique atmosphere. I enjoyed the spacious family suite with great air conditioning. The outdoor pool is a real highlight, well-sized with plenty of sunbeds. I appreciated the poolside snack bar, where I had yummy caprese rolls for just €5. The proximity to Herculaneum made exploring easy and convenient. I encountered issues with cleanliness. There were strands of hair on the floor and some ants during my stay. Breakfast options lacked variety. more fresh fruits and different pastries would elevate the experience. The service in the courtyard was slow at first, but improved when I engaged the staff. Noise from events was sometimes distracting, especially the fireworks. this place has a lot to offer, but some maintenance and better service during busy times would enhance the stay.

The room was spacious and had high ceilings, giving it a palace-like vibe. Great views of Vesuvius and the gardens from the huge windows. It was clean but had a few spots missed during housekeeping. Air conditioning worked well, which was a must during the heat. The marble bathroom was lovely and matched the old-school charm. the room felt comfortable and stately, but a bit of upkeep wouldn’t hurt!
